A New Cattitude was founded by me, Jocie (aka Cat Nurse Jocie), a passionate feline enthusiast with over 18 years of experience as a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT). I’ve worked in both small animal clinics and shelter medicine, giving me a well-rounded understanding of feline health and behaviour. In addition to my formal veterinary training, I’ve completed 400+ hours of cat-specific behavior training and continuously take courses and read the latest research to stay on top of feline behavior techniques.

With my deep understanding of cats’ needs, I offer virtual consultations to help manage behavior issues and improve overall well-being. My mission is to help cats and their owners live harmoniously by providing personalized solutions based on each cat’s unique needs and behaviours.

At home, I live with my husband and six cats, all of whom constantly teach me new things about feline behaviour and help me fine-tune my training techniques and conflict resolution strategies.
